様々な能力を持つアビリティカードを装備してプレイする所は虹龍洞と同じです。
虹龍洞とは異なり、ランダム要素が強く、ステージ選択制で一度のプレイ時間は短めになっています。
繰り返し遊んで、たくさんカードを集めて、ハイスピードな弾幕ごっこと、装備しているカードで変わる攻略性をお楽しみ下さい。

lot of freedom and creativity to make the most powerful build you can or building around a theme or challenging yourself - whatever you want. grinding for money and cards is satisfying like levelling up in an rpg. the short levels are more my preference over long playthroughs of the mainline touhou games.1 found this helpful
Touhou 18.5 takes the rougelite 'experiment' of Touhou 18 and expands on it. Those who love 'traditional' danmaku/SHMUP games or who think Touhou must remain the same might loathe the roguelite mechanics however those who want something new and especially those who like roguelite mechanics will find this an excellent game. One thing to add is that if you love Touhou, but can't complete them due to not having good twitch skills, the additional gameplay mechanics can make the game MUCH easier once you discover and upgrade your characters inventory fully.1 found this helpful

One of the weaker touhou games but still decent
Heavily over hated & underrated! I really had a lot of fun with this one and collecting the different ability cards. Its always fun to make yourself as powerful and broken as possible lol
