This game is only properly experienced when using an Infrared Light Gun, but you can play with a mouse.

TEST YOUR REFLEXES PARTNER!
Using your trusty 6 shooter shoot the targets as fast as you can in 30 seconds to rack up points. Each consecutive hit gives you bonus points. You can reload as many times as you like but keep an eye on that ammo, 6 shots doesn't last!
PUSH YOUR SKILLS
Scoring high wins high! As you rack up points your game will level up, showing you more targets faster. You'll need the eye of an eagle and the reflexes of a Texas rattlesnake to shoot and reload fast enough to keep up.

"Blamcon Shooting Gallery" is a weird one... it's a small tech demo game intended to be used with an infrared light gun. Okay... you might know those from the one that shipped with the NES back in the 1990s, with the famous game "Duck Hunt". Except, you know, nobody makes those anymore that I know of, it's not even a great experience anyway, and this tech demo has less going on in it than Duck Hunt did. What do you do in the game? Shoot some minimalist targets. Uninstall quickly. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. The graphics aren't great, minimalist, uninspired, bland, generic stuff. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Moving, short duration targets are good for firearms training. I like the 6 shot limitation, requiring mentally tracking ammo status.
This game is a great way to test your accuracy and calibration of your light gun, highly recommend you download and give this a try even if you haven't made or purchased a Blamcon yet.
