About Blind and Schizophrenic

Sixty-nine year old Richard Cox is a washed up schizophrenic, who also happens to be blind on account of his constant absinthe consumption. Worse still, fate forces him to prolong his pitiful existence in spite of his handicaps. The only thing left to chance now is how he will spend the little time he has left......

- Explore the dark streets of your hometown using primarily sound and your schizophrenia

- Survive as many days as you can without dying or going insane

- See how much respect you can accumulate by completing quests for the denizens of the town, or by indulging in your own vices

- Smoke weed, collect welfare, or just shoot up the town, it's your sandbox!

What would you do if you were blind and schizophrenic?

Ah, the feverish cacophony of this most delirious and mind-bending creation! The game, a phantasmagoria of discordant thought and unbridled frenzy, dances upon the very precipice of sanity. It is as if the very fabric of reason has been torn asunder, replaced by a mad, swirling tempest of fractured reality. One's senses, disjointed and bewildered, stagger through a labyrinth of shifting perceptions, where every corner hides a new and evermore disorienting illusion. This game—nay, this fever-dream—can scarce be called a game at all, for it is but a manifestation of the chaotic, schizophrenic deluge that occupies the minds of the broken and the lost. It is a chimera, a kaleidoscope of visions, untethered from the chains of logic and driven by a malevolent, unseen hand. Each moment within its bounds feels as though one is spiraling into a whirlpool of absurdity, where the rules are not so much malleable as they are utterly absent. The screen—a window to madness—flickers and pulses with an almost palpable malevolence, as if it were an eldritch portal drawing forth your very soul into its malevolent grasp. Its colors, a garish and unnatural symphony, bleed into one another like the sm…

"Blind and Schizophrenic" is a dead game, you can verify so yourself by checking the player count. This "Progenitor" publisher might as well drop the "Works" from their brand name, or replace the first word with "Dream" and start fishing for a new job, because only a blind schizophrenic would release such hogwash in this time and age and have the nerve to tag it with "Action-Adventure". Maybe they belong to an older demographic such as Millennials or Generation X and have lower standards for realism in works of digital entertainment, but that is no excuse to be this lazy and craft such an outdated and poorly constructed game. Oh well, at least it's 1$ (American Dollar) - but considering all the flaws and defects, it pushes it way below the standards PC gamers have come to expect and it's impossible to recommend.

# Blind and Schizophrenic Review — Interesting Concept, Rough Execution Blind and Schizophrenic is a strange game, and that seems to be the point. It has a weird premise, a harsh tone, and an intentionally uncomfortable presentation. I can respect games that try to be unusual, especially when they are made by smaller developers and are clearly not aiming for a polished mainstream experience. The problem is that the roughness gets in the way of the idea. There is a concept here that could work. A game built around limited perception, confusion, survival, and trying to navigate a hostile world could be interesting if handled carefully. The minimal visuals and strange interface give it a distinct identity, and I do appreciate when a game tries to do something different instead of chasing the same safe formulas. But in its current state, Blind and Schizophrenic feels more like a rough prototype than a fully realized experience. The presentation is hard to read, the gameplay can feel unclear, and the tone does not always feel supported by strong design. There is a difference between making the player feel disoriented on purpose and making the player feel like the game itself is not …
