Blip (Open Alpha)

Cubzh is a Roblox-inspired online multiplayer game and game creation system by Voxowl Inc. It's sitting at a bizarrely high 81% positive reviews despite there being no playerbase and the existing games consisting mostly of broken rubbish. One example is the game that was recommended first to me: a car game where you can build up enough speed from the center that you are too fast to actually collide with anything. Eventually, the other cars disappear from the screen due to your travel speed being too high for them to appear. The next recommended game was a broken helicopter game where I was able to fly below the map, above the map, and literally through the map. The controls were poorly implemented and mostly broken. None of the games I tried were playable. None were impressive. While I did not take the time to assess the tools themselves, the critical reviews often complained about the poor quality implementation of the toolset - at least in comparison to Roblox and other competitors. Avoid this one. It still works, but there's no reason to use this over a competing product.

Could be cool but it's so deserted... It's really sad. Guess i'll be sticking to roblox.

Игра Blip (Open Alpha) оставляет интересное, но смешанное впечатление. Видно, что проект находится на ранней стадии разработки, но уже прослеживаются любопытные идеи. Визуальный стиль минималистичный и стильный, хоть и требует доработки в части анимаций и детализации окружения. Геймплейно Blip предлагает нечто среднее между головоломкой и платформером, где игроку предстоит манипулировать окружением, чтобы продвигаться вперед. Основная механика "блокирования" окружения поначалу кажется свежей, но быстро становится повторяющейся из-за недостатка разнообразия в головоломках. Ощущается нехватка контента. Текущие уровни достаточно короткие, и после пары часов игра практически заканчивается. Интерфейс и управление пока кажутся неотзывчивыми и нуждаются в полировке. Присутствует пара мелких багов, не критичных, но портящих общее впечатление. В целом, Blip имеет потенциал стать увлекательной инди-игрой, если разработчики сосредоточатся на расширении контента, улучшении управления и добавлении новых механик. Пока это лишь многообещающий прототип, за развитием которого стоит следить. Требуется больше уникальных задач и более плавный, оптимизированный опыт.
