Blueshift

"Blueshift" is a pointless abandoned Early Access VR tech demo. What do you do in the game? There's nothing to really do, you just fly around in VR. The developer walked away at an early stage in development and left this pre-alpha junk on Steam to pollute the place and make it harder for ethical devs who make complete games in good faith find their audience, because gamers have to wade through all this abandoned garbage in search of those games. The developers abandoned this 8 years and 2 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product…

I got this game when I was a kid, but I pretty much got bored of it because it has no activity, and ever since Steam got updated, the gold-colored text under the early access box says it all. "The last update made by the developers was over 8 years ago. The information and timeline described by the developers here may no longer be up to date."

Вместо привычных масштабных войн здесь царит атмосфера загадочности и стремления обустроить новые, неизведанные миры. Система терраформирования проработана до мелочей, позволяя превращать враждебные планеты в пригодные для жизни уголки вселенной. Изучение технологий и развитие колоний требует стратегического мышления и планирования на несколько ходов вперёд. Визуально игра выглядит приятно, хотя и без излишних красот. Интерфейс интуитивно понятен, а музыкальное сопровождение создаёт нужное настроение. Единственный минус – иногда не хватает динамичных событий, и темп игры может показаться несколько медленным, но для любителей вдумчивых стратегий это скорее плюс. В целом, 'Blueshift' – это солидная и интересная игра, способная увлечь на долгие часы. Рекомендую!
