About VR Jetpack Game
Physics-based VR with full freedom of flight. VR that feels and controls like a real jetpack. A real-time multiplayer VR arena.
Players can fly and interact with each other online in VR with realistic physics-based controls. The controls are completely VR and natural, just as you would use thruster controllers for a real jetpack (look up Jetman as an example). It's truly free range of motion and natural movement, not the teleport or D-pad controls of most VR games. This includes but is not limited to being able to hover, drift, spin, flip, and burst through the sky without ever hitting any special buttons (all controller angle/position based). It's up to your own imagination what combination of moves or positions you might be able to do in the air. You can even now swing and do hookshots with the new grappling cables.
Note that this means you can and will go upside-down. Like with roller coasters, skydiving, or any other real-life thrill or extreme sport, this experience is not for everyone, but for the right people, this comes very close to feeling like flying (and swinging) in real-life.
The game is currently being released as Early Access, as the core mechanics and flying functionality along with multiplayer have been done for over a year now. The slowest part of development, and what is taking the most time for me as a 1-man team, is the more traditional parts of the game, such as map building, graphics, and other assets. If anyone is interested in helping work on these items, feel free to reach out on the VR Jetpack Game website. Longer term, once the more traditional parts of the game are done, the game will take a more open-world / sandbox direction as a testbed to integrate other projects of interest, such as introducing some of my plans for the AI project at Conatus.ai (and we can see if people realize when the other players aren't human).

[h2]Jetpack Money Back ?[/h2] ►Dear VR players: I really wanted to love this game. I didn't give it much time when I first got it, because I did NOT like the control & motion sickness issues in it. I didn't get sick, and I did get it for free through one of our JoinUsInVR giveaways, so I chose to give it a chance before I give it a 👎 review. It has been long enough.... The first 5 minutes make me WANT to see the rest of it, but I can't enjoy it. I have a strong stomach, and did NOT get sick. But "not sick" or not my criteria of "fun". The controls are cool, but the lack of options to lock the z axis (make up stay up) is a game breaker for me to have fun. It becomes a mindless "I'm spinning and I don't know which way the game wants me to go, in order to progress" problem. If I paid cash for VR Jetpack, I would had asked for the Steam Money Back guarantee. For that reason, go try it. But in the current state, I can't recommend it. "VR Jetpack Game" is a VR motion sickness simulator... just kidding, but this is definitely a case where you don't judge a book by its cover... this is horribly optimised, won't work on a lot of VR systems, and was abandoned by the developer in a fairly unplayable state. What do you do in the game? Well not much, you just sort of jump around in your jetpack, but there's no other players or anything. This is dead. The developers abandoned this 3 years and 3 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom…1 found this helpful

Управление интуитивно понятное, быстро осваиваешься и начинаешь вытворять головокружительные маневры. Графика на достойном уровне, окружение яркое и детализированное, хочется рассматривать каждый уголок виртуального мира. Разнообразие миссий и испытаний не дает заскучать. Тут и гонки на время, и исследование новых локаций, и выполнение различных заданий. Jetpack можно прокачивать, улучшая скорость, маневренность и другие параметры, что добавляет азарта. Единственный небольшой минус - иногда встречаются небольшие баги с коллизиями, но они не критичны и не портят общее впечатление. В целом, это отличная VR-игра, которая подарит массу положительных эмоций и заставит почувствовать себя настоящим пилотом реактивного ранца! Рекомендую всем любителям скорости и виртуальных приключений.

If someone says that VR doesn't make them sick, have them try this game. It's fun with other people, solo it's pretty boring.
