About Bolsheviktion 3D
Story
Russia, May 1918. In the midst of a civil war, the Bolsheviks have recently seized power. Tsar Nicholas II has abdicated the throne, and has been placed under house arrest in Alexander Palace. You're a diplomat sent to negotiate with the new regime, but instead are suspected of being a spy. Thrown into prison, you face a grim fate. But one night, you have a nightmare. A gruesome scene - a dark, dingy basement, covered in blood, with walls covered in bullet holes. Seeing dead bodies of young women and men, you realise it's the Tsar's family. Waking up in a cold sweat, you make a decision. When the morning guard comes in to check on you, you'll kill him, take his gun and make your escape. The Tsar needs you.Features

I have been an avid fan of Wolfenstein 3D since I first played it on a PC at the age of 11, gosh that was 33 years ago. That game along with Doom had cemented my fandom of the FPS genre, and I have probably played hundreds of FPS games since then but those are 2 of the earliest ones that I find myself revisiting still to this day, for obvious reasons. Bolsheviktion 3d of course wears its Wolf3d heart to its sleeve, outside of the notable change of the bad guys changing from the N@zis (not sure if Steam reviews censors the word so I'm just preempting) to the Bolsheviks that led the Russian Communist revolution to overthrow the Tsar and form the Soviet Union, the powerful nation that at one time served as the greatest rival state to the United States as well as western global power. I don't mind the change up in politics, even if I think the devs might be romanticizing the brutal tyranny of the Tsar because communism is bad or whatever. But outside of the obvious change of the villainy and the protagonist (I assume is a loyalist of Ni…2 found this helpful

Wow, just awesome! Best variation of Wolfenstein 3D since Blake Stone! (if that is counted) + Really cool old school game music! Highly recommended for old Wolfenstein fans!
