In Bonds, you must use your wit to survive! Free yourself and solve a series of dangerous puzzles leading you toward a promised liberation. You begin unconscious and tied to a chair, and things quickly get worse from there.
Bonds is an immersive, difficult escape room with a non-linear narrative. Explore your surroundings, discover useful items, uncover clues, and most importantly, find a way out! Play as twelve different victims with a variety of individual strengths, who have been captured and placed one-by-one in a madman's cryptic experiment. Explore their stories as they struggle to survive, and learn more about WHY.
Controls are learned.
Progress is earned.
Failure is death.
Some elements are randomized, so guessing results in little long-term reward. You must strive for understanding in order to demonstrate your worth.

Too many death traps undermine an otherwise nice idea, making the following playthroughs increasingly repetitive. The game begins with your character bound to a chair in a cellar. If you do not act quickly, you will die and the game will restart. A picture of the previous character will appear on the main screen, and you can try again with a different character trapped in the same circumstance. The basement is a "escape room" in which you must locate tools and codes to exit. You have no idea how it works because no ckues are provided and the controls are only available if you press "Esc". You can interact with various hotspots, but they are not identified, so you do not know they are there. The best approach is to try interacting with everything. Unfortunately, the basement is also a deadly trap. A single wrong move will undo all of your progress. For example, there is a trap door in the center of the room and a spike floor that must be passed by stepping on a wooden plank. But while those are visible, there are some that surprise you, like inputting a wrong code and blowing up when trying to turn off the alarm.
