[b]box voyage[/b] is a disaster of titanic proportions and the developers seem to have jumped ship right after pressing the release button on steam, so you'd better steer clear of it as well. at the beginning of your cruise you're presented with a to-do list ('travel tips') and the goal is to explore 7 locations (mostly locked in the beginning) and fill the fun meter by having fun, which is incredibly hard when a game is as broken as this pile of garbage. [b]each room is a puzzle box[/b] with some everyday stuff to do, like getting a haircut, and you'll click around rooms, trying to see what does what, and ideally tick off things on the list. the mouse or wasd moves, right click+drag grabs and pulls things, left click pushes, no keyboard equivalents for these. holding (why not pressing?) 't' brings up travel mode (level select, if you will), 'e' or esc is for bringing up and exiting the main menu, and tab displays travel tips again. doesn't sound too bad, but here are [b]the issues I found in the first 10 minutes[/b]: - mouse and keyboard controls are a horrible, inconsistent, non-rebindable mess - default mouse sensitivity is way too high, should be at 0% instead of 100%, even …

It’s been 21 years since the last Bubsy game, and time has not been kind to the little fella. The first two titles were actually pretty well received, and the third one was quite popular with the twelve people who bought an Atari Jaguar. The fourth title, Bubsy 3D, received generally positive reviews at the time, with reviewers being initially enthusiastic about the character’s first foray into the third dimension. The problem was that Super Mario 64 came out, and people changed their mind about him quicker than a diner who’s just spotted the chef jerking off into the clam chowder. The game is now lauded as being one of the worst games of all time and later reviews have been highly critical. Regardless of how you feel about Eidetic’s debut title, it’s been over two decades now, so it’s time for Bubsy to get a clean slate in his fifth outing, created by Giana Sisters revivers Black Forest Games. There’s a few things that have been kept from the previous games, including the ability to glide over larger gaps and Bubsy’s “attitude”. This means that he makes snide remarks every 30 seconds, which is amusing initially, but after you’ve heard him proclaim “What could paw-ssibly go wrong”…

Yes, much fun. Well - up until the gravity mountain arcade portion. But overall good game. Now I may return to work feeling refreshed.
