Fun puzzle game with some interesting mechanics and ideas, but a little slow paced due to the cutscenes between levels. New abilities are introduced at a steady pace and layed in clever and thoughtful ways - the dev clearly has a knack for puzzle design. Definitely worth a look if you're a fan of spacial puzzles, and especially if you can pick it up on sale. Underappreciated game, definitely worth the price.1 found this helpful
This Puzzle Game Feels Like Portal But With Boxes! https://youtu.be/sXalfcDh2h4 I enjoy puzzle games, so this game was right up my alley, it is a fun well planned out game and I enjoyed the different mechanics the game had. Now to the goo, this game feels like portal as you have to coat yourself is several substances which give you some sort of ability, but you have to make sure you put it on the correct side or you could flip your box and have a color that cant help you beat the level. If this happens restarting the level is easy and it gives you the opportunity to keep trying new things! Overall I highly recommend this game!1 found this helpful
A fun cozy little puzzle game that I was able to enjoy a few hours with. A simple but cute story about continuing to hope and try even if it may be pointless.1 found this helpful
Box #341 is a refreshingly clever sokoban puzzle game that plays on rotating mechanics and paints with special properties (i.e. Portal 2). Perfect for those new to the sokoban genre, each of the 100 levels feel pretty approachable along with the wholesome dialogue in between every handful of levels or so. The only minor drawback is the occasional bug that messes with the physics between objects / paints, but it was always fixable with a quick level restart. Looking forward to the developer's future projects!
🔹EXPECTATIONS: a puzzle platformer with some unique and challenging mechanics. 🔹REALITY: an easy puzzle platformer. 🔶 Box #341 is a puzzle platformer game where you control a box that aims to be shipped out of its warehouse, and to that end you need to bring it to each level's goal (shelf). 🔸 It is more of a puzzle game than a platformer, but it's fairly easy in both aspects. The platforming is only used for traversal, as the box can jump, and not really presented as a challenge, though the game's objects collide in a strange way, specially the boxes corners, which might give you a bit of trouble. 🔸 That gives the puzzle parts more of the spotlight: the box needs to reach the goal, but it also needs to be in the correct position (correct side up), so you'll find yourself tipping over the box, staining each side with different paints that give the box varied properties/abilities, and figuring out the right sequence of moves. 🔸 It has a story, told through conversations with speaking animals, that doesn't really go much further than the initial premise, and despite the dialogue being quite simple, it carries a positive/hopeful message. 🔸 Because of its low difficulty, I w…
