horrible controls make this a non-starter, on top of other issues. supposedly just click stuff to select, then craft or destroy to get materials, items and whatnot, but as soon as level 5 it became a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess. after whatever I thought logical was exhausted (e.g. character movement, which is inconsistent and unclear to begin with, is cosmetic only, and drops are random), I simply followed the tutorial prompts to move on. then gave up soon after, not gonna take 46 levels of this nonsense. always start from zero, make the same things you just made on the previous level to use them to make another thing, and so on. it's tedious as ♥♥♥♥, clicking an unlocked recipe should simply create the item next time. already figured out the puzzle, don't make me repeat it 50 times. the rest of the ui is awful as well. there's a campaign and some challenges but level select is the 'scroll a list left/right one by one' variety, the worst. could easily fit on a single screen. there are a ton of settings but again, a long-ass list on the bottom, scroll through them one by one. feels like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile game with only the middle of the screen used but I couldn't find a mobile version. some of the …

The games cute, but damn it requires so much brain power at times. It's challenging but not too challenging. The amount of content for the price it stands at is insane. You can play so many hours and have lots of fun for very cheap.

Brushwood Buddies is d whimsical woodland adventure where you can finally put your squirrel-chasing skills to good use, just don't forget to pack a nutty sense of humor! its funny! ahahha
