About Cannibal Abduction

✦ AI summary

Escape a cannibal family's farmhouse by hiding, sneaking, and solving puzzles while avoiding detection in this retro-inspired survival horror game. Raw 80s slasher vibes meet PSX-era gameplay with VHS aesthetics, scarce resources, and two endings that reveal the dark secrets behind your captors' madness.

After borrowing his father's car, Henry is ready to finally have a weekend trip to escape from his parents house. Everything was on track until the engine stops running in the middle of nowhere and a humble local offers to tow Henry to his farm in order to fix the car problem, but he and his family had other plans for the young punk.

THE FOOD IS SERVED

Put yourself in Henry's sneakers and try to escape from the house of the cannibal family in this thrilling survival horror game made by the developers of The Night of the Scissors, and once again, inspired by classic slasher movies from the 80s and survival horror PSX games.
  • Experience the horror of being chased by a serial killer in his own house!
  • Stay in the shadows, hide inside wardrobes, don't let him notice you.
  • Soft puzzle elements.
  • Plan your next move, your pockets are limited and you won't be able to carry everything at once.
  • Cinematic camera angles and authentic VHS glitches.
  • Collect tapes to record your progress (They are scarce, use them wisely!)
  • A perfect mix of calm atmosphere and tense sound effects.
  • Two endings to help you discover why the family is acting so strange.

Disclaimer: This game is an experience that you can complete in around 2 hours and it's meant for players 18 years and over, it might also be too scary or grotesque for some people. Keep this in mind before acquiring the product.

its fun, a short horror game with 2 endings not a tonne to say expect sometimes the ai for the killer was lame like idk if hes randomly roaming or if he roams only during specific times but there were moments where he would be directly where i needed to go but like not in a way that felt intentional otherwise great game with a fun 100%

Fairly enjoyable puppet combo style game. Definitely worth a shot if you're a fan of these kind of games.

insane decision to make the easy difficulty the default . there are some mechanics missing in the default setting that makes the game way too easy . i finished the whole thing in less than 40 mins . then played the hard mode and got the 2nd ending but because i already knew the answer to every puzzle it wasn't as fun . 100% in 115 mins . what a shame man , if i played on the hard mode first i would have had so much fun for the first playthrough . but all things considered it was solid enough and i enjoyed my time playing it . but inventory space being 3 in hard mode was an insane choice to make ngl . a toddler can carry more stuff specially since half the items in this game are pins and keys .

This is fine, but far from great. It's a quick game - I beat it in under an hour. The pursuer enemy is a pain in the ass and hard to lose, but you get a better feel for those moments as your brain settles in to this game's version of tank controls, which feel more tanky than they need to be.

Basically what Night of the Scissors was building too. A fun, puzzle centric survival horror where the killer showing up isn't an automatic game over.

Generic imo. Not terrible for five bucks and if you like this style of game that helps, but if you're looking for something fresh this isn't it.
