Cat's Bar

Cat's Bar is a cute concept but the poor English localization ruins the experience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHYsARlr-dk It kind of sucks that I can't enjoy this game because I think it actually has some decent design behind it. The game isn't perfect by any means but it has some enjoyable gameplay elements. The basic concept is that you are a cat running a bar and you have a limited amount of time to make your establishment successful enough to somehow help save a cat goddess. I have no idea how that is supposed to work but fine, sounds neat. You are tasked with creating different drinks from recipes and materials you collect throughout the world. It's pretty basic, you either talk to various cats or find raw materials in specific node areas. You also need to manage your bar while doing this. You can place tables and other objects to attract more customers or keep them happy while they visit. There is a decent amount of different objects each with their own effects. Staff are also available for hire which will keep your bar running while you go do other things. The drink mixing from recipes is basic but neat. This game is really bad :( The English is bad, the controls are bad, the gameplay is bad. You go around clicking on ingredients to collect them during the day and combine them to make drinks (except I can't figure out how to get the formulas), then at night you just have to hang around waiting and doing nothing. It's really not fun. HOWEVER, the little cat avatar is super cute! And I do see sincere effort behind the game. I really think the developer should keep working to improve their games, as they do have potential :)

Cat's Bar is truly the pinnacle of gaming. You need an incredibly advanced set of intellectual skills, an IQ of at least 250, and you need to be older than 25 in order to truly comprehend even the most basic aspects of the game. Think about it. Every click, every movement, everything you do can potentially determine what you will do later on in the game. Cat's Bar is a strategy game on par with Chess. Each version of Cat's Bar varies so much that they're basically entirely different games. I'm seriously tired of everyone calling this a game for little kids, little kids can barely understand LEGO, let alone the masterpiece that is Cat's Bar. Do you think that a little kid could build a working bar in Cat's Bar? Hell no. Playing Cat's Bar is one of the most mentally exhausting things you could ever do.

I was browsing Steam for cute little games then I found Cat's Bar and decided to buy it. I downloaded it but then when I tried playing it I couldn't even read any of the text in the game. The resolution was not set up very well and some of it doesn't even work unless you have your computer resolution set at 1440 x 900. Then some of the game menus look pretty bad. Some of the controls seem a bit funky as well. It seems like it could be a cute little game if they just touched up on certain things. In my opinion, I would say that this game has a lot of work ahead of it. I personally wouldn't make the purchase but it's not much money if you're willing to give it a try and if you don't like it you could just get a refund.

The drink recipes are in Chinese EVEN THO THE GAME IS SELECTED TO ENGLISH AND DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS LIKE HONEY AMD SYRUP LOOK THE SAME SO I CAN'T MAKE DRINKS FOR MY CUSTOMERS AND EVEN TRANSLATOR DOESN'T HELP. The game itself is simple, nothing too exciting, it's fine. I only recommend this because

This game was super hard. It tested I IQ but I love the cat. I made this real in bar. Furniture just vanish my IQ low to is. But my friends they no help. Buy and help.
