I like that every few levels there is a new mechanic and new enemy type added as that keeps the game fresh and forces you to learn new tactic to win. [h1]Bad things:[/h1] It is funny that first time you click setting it automatically set all sounds to 0 and also disable the tutorial. Sometimes clicking the GO button just makes your cannons automatically shoot and can destroy an explosive barrel and makes you wait for reload while the wave of enemies is already moving. There were 3 times when the starfish that spawns from killed zombie was just moving and ignoring all obstacles instead of moving using the road that all other not flying enemies use. [h1]Conclusion[/h1] I think this game is like a devolved version of tower defense games. Much more manually shooting than real planing. Overall score 5.5/10

Maybe I am missing something, but it's just not very fun. The first level was easy enough, but the second got hard, fast, for me. Calling itself a tower defense game seems deceptive, there is some path building, but you have one tower, and you have to manually fire it at the advancing enemies, one at a time, and there is a rest-time between shots. Even with never missing, and firing every shot as soon as the bar turned green, in became impossible. Can't recommend, sorry.

Very fun and addictive game with great pirate ambiance! Lots of levels, refreshing gameplay based on classical tower defense mecanics with a brain teaser twist, and for a really fair price. Give it a try, mate :-X

This is a pretty nice game, it's kinda a tower defense but with some skill-shot mechanics. The game is very simple at the begining but getting harder and harder over the levels and new interesting mechanics are added. The game is smooth and fast. I'm glad to have found this game, it's a great discovery ! :)

A nice and challenging tower defense with a fun twist. A lot of levels, plenty of different mechanics to master. A hard mode for those who seek more challenge. I really enjoyed playing Chest Mate so far and will certainly relaunch it on occasion!
