About Childhood Fears
DESCRIPTION

Do you remember being a kid? All the fun we would have, pretending to be knights fighting a dragon, or maybe a spy on a top-secret mission? Those were fun times. However, not everything was fun. We also had fears. Fears of things that might be hiding in the shadows. Fears of the monsters that could be hiding in the closet or under the bed. Not to worry though, that was just in our imaginations, right? Not anymore. Using only a flashlight and your ears, live your childhood fears by trying to survive the creatures of the night. They will become more aggressive as the night's progress, so be on your guard at all times. You just need to survive the night until the sun rises. At the end of the week, you will have finally vanquished the creatures and can rest easy knowing you conquered your childhood fears.
GAMEPLAY

- New monsters will attack you each night, so paying attention to your surroundings is important.
- Each monster has its own way of attacking with a different mechanic used to fight them off.
- You'll have to survive seven nights, each one harder than the last.
- Your flashlight can keep you safe but it has limited power, so be careful with it.
- The monsters make noises that can tell you their location, so listen out for them. Don't get distracted by other sounds though.
- You will need to adjust to new environments as you stay in a new room each night.

Good game but night 2 is glitched, shadow monster wont go away even if i flash my light multiple times at him. Does anyone have the same issue? What do i do?1 found this helpful
very hard but fun night 6 and 7 are the hardest1 found this helpful
If you're a fan of FNAF or other management-based horror games, this is for you. While not quite as deep (lore-wise) as its famous cousin, it has the same anxiety-inducing characteristics, with up to 5 or 6 monsters assailing you at once in a level. The sound design is good, but could be better, with the house in certain levels feeling rather silent. The animations could be better as well, but only on a couple of monsters, like the shadow and the orc. The monsters themselves are pretty creative, with the deer-headed vendigo being my favorite. Though I've only got to the second-to-last night, it definitely has the ability to hook you into playing until the end, which isn't that hard because the nights are around five minutes long. Buy it if you like FNAF, and stay for the unique perspective on the sub-genre.1 found this helpful
this game is downright terrifying but i love it
It's fun and I was the first person to beat the final 7th night :D
While the game seems similar to boogey man, I can tell that the dev was trying to put his own spin on things. I really like the different mechanics for all of the monsters (except for the crawler) and changing the environment each night makes for a unique experience every level. I would have to give this game a 4/5 rating. It's fun. Not revolutionary in a any way, but still fun.
