About Chronicles of Lurra
The Chronicles of Lurra is a free to play RPG set in the fictional world of Lurra. You follow Trent, the main character as he is dragged from his home through time and space to the world of Lurra. His long time friend Adrian drags him away and ropes him into his schemes of robbing a bank, a grand heist, with his companions Maya and Tyrus the Magnificent. With his only way home in the hands of his friend, Trent must go along with the heist in order to return home.

RPG Maker strikes again! "Chronicles of Lurra" is one of hundreds of low effort RPG Maker flips spamming the store. It's made with a kit that says it is simple enough for a child. It's just a bunch of canned assets mixed with cringey high school anime club fan fiction. This is a painfully generic, pathetically cringey RPG Maker asset flip set in an extraordinarily generic and dry world. The high school anime club dropout fan-fiction follows the developers fantasy of traveling to a magical fantasy world and then for some reason robbing a bank. The map design, combat design and everything else is on-par with the RPG Maker asset flip nature of the "game"... awful. Like other RPG Maker "games", the game engine is extremely low quality. It displays badly in fullscreen, and has no real graphics settings or HD support. It's not up to the same standard we expect from a modern PC game. We can make the argument that construction kit toys like RPG Maker are intended for making small games and demos and things to pass around with friends. They shouldn't be used as a substitute or "Ez-mode" to allow unqualified amateurs to LARP that they're real, actual game developers. This is just mor…1 found this helpful
