A waste of time, I spent a long time searching for a game without success.12 found this helpful
"Code Name: Operation Dawn" is a really badly made Unreal asset flip, more of a tech demo than a game, but wow, there's a surprise which we'll get to in a minute. This looks great thanks to Unreal and some nice assets the developers got their hands on somehow, but the gameplay absolutely sucks. It's a barebones shooter, it's not fun, it doesn't make a lot of sense... well, that's fairly common with asset flips for fairly obvious reasons. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as you're expected to pay up more money to unlock content/DLC so you can keep playing. This is the little surprise I mentioned earlier... the developer has his hands out for FIFTY FOUR UNITED STATES DOLLARS in DLC!!!! This is some nasty, predatory pricing and PC gamers don't like it. I can't even find the correct "pier" to meet the character you hear talking at the start.1 found this helpful
This is consistently maxing out my 12-thread 10400F at 100% just running around the starting area. My RTX 3080 is around 75% and I'm getting ~40fps. It doesn't even look good. Constant screen tearing, lighting artifacts, just a bunch of car models.1 found this helpful
