I played New Dawn in 2022 and remember it being a playground of silly fun. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and neither should you.

I played this game during my early teen in 2019, really enjoyed it back then. The game is vibrant and beautiful. I love the atmostphere, they really did well to match with post-nuclear apocalyptic event. I also loved the enemy ranking system, I think this is the first time ever where you can see enemies' healthbar. I also really liked the weapond ranking system as well. However, there some criticisms that are pointing out. First of all, while i do like the weapond ranking system, it also has a problem where some weapons from lower rank willl be completely useless towards mid to end game. As a result, only rank 3 and elite weapons stand a chance against the late game enemies (I played in the hardest difficulty btw). Plus, the storyline is very blend and boring. The Twins were more annoying than being terrifying, and i didnt feel any emotional connection with any characters (except for Timber the Dog). Sorry for any broken english, I just typed it without thinking :)

Genuinely, I do not get it when people say that they don't like this game. The aesthetics are awesome. The combat just as good as the other far cry games, if not better. The sound design and music choice goes off. The Highwaymen are probably my favorite enemy faction from the entire franchise and are definitely the most unique. Love it.

Disapointing low content. This game should have been a DLC Of Far cry 5 and yet it is sold as a separate "complete" game. In term of content, it has a third of far cry 5. Same map reused but reduced to a third. questline is extremely short. Character writing is horrible "here is the strong black female villain. Oh she is like that because of a bad chilhood. And she's retarded because we are extremely racist.", "here is the good woman, she is like an angel, except that she's a 5/10 and doesn't do anything noticeable except hoping that some people around her will make sure things are going the right way", "here is the strong male lead. But he is just a rescue target and a sacrifice to make the villain look bad". The game is playable, but only buy that when there's a steep discount on it.

Far Cry New Dawn is a fun and colorful post-apocalyptic adventure that takes the familiar Far Cry formula and gives it a fresh setting. Set 17 years after the events of Far Cry 5, the game takes place in a transformed Hope County filled with wild landscapes, dangerous wildlife, and the violent Highwaymen.
