The story is really interesting, and I love how it's written. Buuut I couldn't fully enjoy the game because the controls are a nightmare. I don't usually write reviews, so when I do, it's because I'm genuinely interested in the game and want to see more of it!! Please consider improving the controls to make the game less frustrating to play. There are a lot of things that don't make sense. You're constantly switching between A, S, D, Z, X, C, Ctrl, and Spacebar for actions that could easily use the same key. Why do quick-time events use different buttons when they could all just use S? Why is the shooting input such a strange combination? Also, there's no tutorial explaining how to shoot. It doesn't make any sense that players have to figure it out by blindly guessing. The timing during the monster encounters are also a big mess and you dont have tiem to react. The biggest issue tho is the lack of save points or checkpoints in a game that can kill you suddenly and without warning. I died from the electric puzzle, the metal pipe falling on me, and the monster simply becaaause I didn't know how to shoot. Having to replay large sections every time is incredibly frustrating. The buildup is there. The spritework is there, even if some of the protag's sprites could use some improving. But it all suddenly falls apart when you try opening the gate because what suspense is built up gets replaced with frustration. Here's how it went for me -Screw up the electricity puzzle and die. Would be entirely my fault if one of the clues for the puzzle didn't suddenly become uninteractable, forcing me to wing it. Also the last checkpoint was when the car crashed. -Solve the electricity puzzle, get a clear warning that I'm about to have my first zombie, open the gate. Head toward the door and I get killed by a rusty iron that falls from the ceiling with no warning. Back to the crash. -Dodge the iron, collect it for something and head outside. Encounter the zombie and realize the game hasn't told me how to shoot and the zombie instakills me. Back to the crash. -Figure out it's ctrl to aim and space to shoot. Open the gate and try that aga- forgot about the falling iron and died. BACK TO THE CRASH! That goes on for a while until I figure out you're supposed to lure the zombie to the gate, fire at it twice to stun it, run back to your car and start hitting it with t…1 found this helpful
this game has so much potential and I can't wait for when it comes out1 found this helpful
I am really into the story and want to play the game more... But the fact you cant skip and have to wait for long periods of time to play take all the fun out solving the puzzles. I get having to restart and collect everything again. However this game desperately needs a skip button or mechanic in order to make it easier to play.
this was made by afgan childrens that are in debt with the mafia so they have to make unfinished games so they can pay back the money, I hope the creator sees this, look, the game is super interesting, its the only game i wanted to play in a long time, but fratem, all things apart the story and the artwork, is so trash i genuinely want to cry, i had to use chat gpt to look up the controls, the game doesnt explain anything apart a s d and shift, then, the part when u crash, is so bad, that im literally writing this in tears, i died like 39 times because the gameplay is so trash, the first time u die because of the fricking pipe that not even flash can dodge its funny, the second time, well, skill issues, but fratem, the third time i fricking die and i have to do that all over again i want to have a talk with u so u can become a better person, its not funny, the time i spent trying to go past that point i could have uninstalled the game and play minesweeper that its more entretainig than this. then, theres the monster part, its even worse, bro its so good the idea that is sad for the game to be so trash, like a game cant be so bad that i have to ask chat gpt to get past the half …
