Figure this is probably the end of my personal support to the studio. From the great love I felt for the 1st "Outbreak", it's only been a downward spiral and my heart now finally breaks at this title, btw the most expensive of the entire licence (!!). To be fair, I should leave a review for each of the 7 games I bought from DDS cause it feels that some had good things going for them. The problem is that the devs do not keep the good stuff from one title to another. They are just trying sumthin else, sumthin more, sumthin new every gd time and never aiming for 1 good finished product, while we are left financing their whimsical learning curves with half ass baked games... supposedly feeding us 90s vibes when it's mostly poor development choices. About that and to be frank, it's not even the matter of changing and trying new stuff. A FPS, a roguelite, a turn by turn strategy... hell, even a racing game could be fun and good ... as long as it's well done (which was never the case with DDS, except for their very 1st one) !! I just simply can't deal with the camera mechanics. for me it straight up killed the game. Makes you wonder what they were thinking-who decided to program it that way, I'll never understand that. Wish I could enjoy the game.

Actually pretty good. At first I didn't think I could play this game because the controls and camera style come set all wrong. After much tinkering, and key binding (mainly adding the dpad for movement and switching some other keys to something I am more used too), it ends up playing just like any of the classics. If you don't like tank controls the game will probably be playable without adujsting anything but I like these games to control a certain way. This is on the Hardcore side as far as combat difficulty, I am several hours in and I have been challenged significantly. If not using fixed camera angles, you will notice a delay during movement as she begins to take a step, this would be hard to get used to, that problem is completely gone when using fixed camera and tank controls (I had to turn the setting on and off a few times but I assure you it does have proper tank controls). I believe if the game came with the controls set better out of the box, it would have gotten much better reviews.
