Current (2026)

I played and loved Neon White. It made me crave for more "schmovement" games. Seeing this game's trailer made me want to get it due to the previous said reason. I had fun and enjoyed my time with Current, even though it was quite short (100%ed in 118 minutes). What differentiates this game from others is the readily available dash that refreshes whenever you walljump or touch the ground, the fast fall with slide mechanic and the wind sigils that you pick up to increase your max speed (I think). All these mechanics make you reach insane speeds which you need to maintain and control, not forgetting the added gimmicks for each of the 3 worlds. I haven't gotten any game breaking bugs or any at all, except at the end of my playthrough where I was stuck inside a wall in the hub world. I got the fastest time on each level to collect 4 rocks (a 5th rock is available if you beat a dev's time) and collecting all the peaches where you get a new path that leads you to a peach in each level if you finish it once. Speed

This game is a very fun 3d momentum plataformer with a cozy and relaxing art style and ost. And I want to make sure to emphasize how much I love the soundtracks of this game, it makes me feel like im really flying high in the clouds. This game has a low skill floor, which means its very easy to just pick it up and enjoy it even if you consider yourself bad at plataformers. But it also has a massive skill ceiling, meaning its very hard to master and requires extremely high APM to perform the tech necessary to get top times. The only downsides of this game, and also my feedback to the dev is: - Not really much story/lore (I dont really care about this tbh, but a lot of people like playing games for the lore) - Lack of a ghost system, where you can see the pacing of your pb in real time. Basically every speedrun focused game has this. - No options to search through the leaderboards other than 'Neaby' which shows 9 people closest to your time, and 'Global' which shows the top ten.
