HELLSPRINT

Genuinely one of the most addictive games I've ever played. The music and art are so nice and nostalgic, the dev executed it in a really beautiful way. On top of this, the level design is phenomenal. You can usually easily see the intended path and get to the finish without too much trouble, but the levels are constructed in a way that allows for a lot of creativity in making up elegant routes. It's really easy to lose time and play a single level for hours. I've gotten a few world record and discovered some unknown shortcuts, and it feels really competitive. Also, the discord server linked to the store page is a really great community to share times and compete with each other. 10/10 use of $7, I highly highly recommend

TL;DR this game is simple, but it's fine tuned and executed with great care. if you like any combination of shooters, platformers, and racing games, this is worth your time. if you have any passing interest in speedrunning, this is a great introductory game for that concept. if you already love it, this is for you. the essence of this game is a precision platformer with bite-size levels. they're built for you to have fun getting to the end, but the real meat of the game is delivered by the timer, and subsequently the drive to shave as much time as possible off of it in subsequent runs. in order to do that, you find yourself learning how best to manipulate your own momentum, and do things better than your past self or optionally your friends, or the player who did it JUST a little faster than you. there's always a way to improve, (almost) always someone faster. so either way, you end up experimenting and playing out of your mind, improving and learning crazy ways to abuse the limits of your movement physics and trivialize what once was unthinkable, and it's completely addicting. every session goes on for a while because of this. I really love the game and how it makes me desire getting better time on my runs. Music is great and creates a good vibe. It surprisingly addictive when you are trying to get a new time marked on the leader board, as I am not one who thought he would be the speed running type. Highly recommend to those people who want to go fast and like to show their skills and problem solving.

Good game with great movement mechanics. It also displays the ghost of a player who finished faster than you during your runs, cool feature. Great price too at about $7. 9 bricks of cheese out of 10

I'm not very experienced in speedrunning/parkour games, but it was fun to get through the stages.
