Warning: Asset Flip!
Cyber Battle 69 is a Unity asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a selection of Synty Games low poly asset packs from the Unity Asset Store, put them in a blender, and slapped their own name on it, pretending it was their work. They did have a potentially serious attempt at trying to make some kind of VR exclusive low poly Zombie shooter by taking Synty's work, but that never eventuated. The game was abandoned roughly a month after launch and hasn't been updated in almost 3 years. It blew past the developers commitment to complete the game. There's no reliable indication the game will ever be completed, which is another reason for gamers to avoid this. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a …4 found this helpful
This is a roguelike sci-fi zombie shooter with multiplayer, developed by a small team made of gamers. Graphics are nice, game is well optimised. Best played with friends in multiplayer. There are currently two game modes with 3 maps. Some things are self explanatory and some you have to find out yourself. There are at least a dozen weapons to choose from with different characteristics. There are one handed and two handed weapons as well. Weapons are upgradable for a few scraps to deal more damage and add some attachments. There are random pickups and ammo scattered around the city and some hidden crates with secrets. The zombies are fun to hunt (actually they hunt you), headshots deal extra damage and weakspots take them down with one hit. Special zombies make them really diverse and even more fun. The game is still under heavy development, the devs are passionate about it and care about players opinion. I was participating in the closed beta of this game and it changed a lot before entering Early Access. Cyber Battle 69 is fun to play at it's current state, there are some bugs but nothing game breaking.2 found this helpful
