Imagine Hotline Miami mixed with Darkwood but with zombies!. I've been waiting on this game for years and boy was i not disappointed. Guns cars and door kicking fun with a mix of being able to sneak around. But my all around favorite you can use stuff to barricade so zombies can't get to you and you're able to shoot over it like you could in reality! Great comic book cutscenes and lots of laughs along the way!6 found this helpful
An interesting game) There are a lot of references to various old movies and TV series, like the police academy or Resident Evil. Driving a car is a bit difficult, but you can get used to it. Some more cars quickly break down from collisions with zombies. If you drive from top to bottom, you can confuse right and left. It's a thrill to play a stealth fist game. The plot is interesting, like a double plot embedding. It's not what it seems. For such a twist, I like it. I love it. The controls are simple, like in The Wildeight. Zombies are not difficult, but if resources are at a minimum, it becomes more difficult to survive. The atmosphere is pleasant, the city is big, I also liked the graphics, but there is not always something to do among the many houses. It's like in real life: there are a lot of buildings in the city, but you just don't have to go in there. I think it's better to move along the plot. In general, I recommend it, the game is relaxing. It has its own nice vibe.4 found this helpful
If David Lynch and John Carpenter had decided to create a video game together, it would have resembled "Moonriver." This is not just a game — it's an atmospheric collage of the most unsettling and mesmerizing images from '80s and '90s pop culture, wrapped in the setting of a hand-drawn 2D world. And yes, you can and should shoot here. This game is for those who value atmosphere over polish, appreciate when the world reacts to their actions (often with irreversible consequences), and feel nostalgia for that strange, inexplicable magic that defined the cult series and films of a bygone era.4 found this helpful
Being a huge "Stranger Things" fan, this totally worked for me. I had just rewatched the whole series before the last season dropped, and the vibe matches perfectly. Highly recommend.3 found this helpful
Excellent retro-style game! Loved the classic GTA vibe and playing as the hilarious cop. Simple, fun, and satisfying—especially the missions where you just kick zombies around. Pure nostalgic fun!3 found this helpful
Pretty cool mix of investigation and zombie action. I'd compare it to "Deadly Premonition" crossed with "The Dead Don't Die" kind of an offbeat tone. Biggest complaint is the really lethargic camera that occasionally made me a little motion sick, and driving camera being totally automated leading to lots of annoying crashes. Will be player more after some patches.2 found this helpful
