Found this game to be way too boring and shallow while also somehow being too difficult and RNG heavy.

Death Skid Marks is a really strange little game, and I think that is exactly why it works for me. I am driving down Route 666 trying to reach a massive music concert, except this is not a normal road trip. I am fighting other cars, dealing with groups of enemies and trying to keep my vehicle and crew alive for the whole journey. It mixes top down car combat with RPG and roguelike systems, so every run is basically me trying to get a little further while making better decisions than I did last time. The whole thing has a very trashy punk attitude to it, and the ridiculous setting fits the gameplay surprisingly well. The combat is the part I enjoy most because I have more options than just shooting everything in front of me. I can ram other vehicles, force them off the road, use melee weapons when I get close or shoot them with ranged weapons. My crew members also have their own equipment and abilities, while the car itself can be upgraded to improve things like movement and durability. I like having to pay attention to both the health of the vehicle and the people inside it because losing crew members can make the rest of the run much harder.
