Deios I // Directors Cut

Visually, this is right up my alley. The writing is intriguing, and the route the combat is taking could lead to some massive depth. It's really early in development, and I managed to get through the demo quite quickly, but it's definitely an experience worth checking out. The style is unprecedented, and I'm excited to see where this goes.

i'd say it's worth playing. pretty experimental, maybe even a little rough around the edges, but it play with enough cool ideas that i can overlook that. seemed like you could make some pretty op builds. i thought the music fit the game really well. i don't know if this is what the developer was going for, but i thought the story was kind-of confusing, like it wasn't super grounded. but overall, i'd recommend it.

though a lot easier to follow than deios ii, this is still quite an abrasive, unusual, and esoteric experience. though the game does revolve around boss battles, there's not really even a pretence of balance or conventional progression - deios I is more enjoyable as an experimental work of interactive art than a boss rush shooter the noise at the end of the timeshare system text could be tuned down a little though, it's unbelievably loud every time

this game is absolutely fire can't wait to play deios 2 when i have the time
