✦ AI summary
Players agree this is a brief digging game that can be completed in under an hour, with opinions split on whether the price justifies the length—some find it acceptable as a budget title supporting indie developers, while others feel it's too short and lacks depth for the cost. Common criticisms include limited upgrade options, missing genre-standard features, and obvious optimal strategies that reduce replayability, though most acknowledge it provides some casual fun for the time spent.
This game took me 36 minutes to beat, all I did was get what looked good and it was just over like that. I guess I could make it take a little longer by not getting the strong spoons but what's the point. Liked the idea of being able to combine heads and handles but there was no depth to it really. Feels like a cashgrab on a popular holedigging theme of games.
Remember "A Game About Digging a Hole?" This is like that, but not as good. Though I guess it is a dollar cheaper.
i love games like this so i had fun for the first 2/3rds of the game, but the upgrades quickly ran out and the game ended up never really introducing anything all that interesting down there. if you've already played one of the games that inspired this one you've already experienced pretty much everything it has to offer.
the twist reveal also didn't really have any impact to me, it seems like the main character is just gonna have to sit around a little while longer before getting to escape (unless i misinterpreted something)
I wasn't expecting much, but this still disappointed me with how short it is. Too short for the cost, even at a discount.
I mean, for what it is, it's short, sweet, and interesting. It ramps quickly so don't worry too much about taking your time. Pick stuff up, dig holes, enjoy an hour or two of good gaming. Not the best, but it's only $4. You can spare that and show a bit of love to new game makers, right? Have fun, enjoy yourself. :)
Tiny half baked game, not even including the basic features for this genre. Would be a thumbs up as a demo but its not worth paying any money for.
