A Game About Digging A Hole proves that an incredibly simple idea can be surprisingly fun. You start with a single goal to dig, but every upgrade and every new discovery makes the experience more addictive. The constant sense of progression makes it difficult to put the game down. Despite its minimalist approach, the game keeps players engaged with a satisfying pace, meaningful upgrades, and the curiosity of discovering what lies deeper underground. It is a perfect example of how simple gameplay can be both relaxing and incredibly rewarding.

This is such a fun little game! I thought my fear of heights/falling would get in the way of enjoying this, but nope! You can dig your holes/tunnels however you want, so I did it in spirals and that helped avoid the fear butterflies. It's a great time sink that keeps you wanting to go back for more. I can't explain the pull it has on me, but I just love it. Highly recommend you check it out and it's a great price tag at $5!
Game was very relaxing until the twisted ending. Reminded me of when I ran into my first leviathan in Subnautica - stopped playing both games at that point!
Nearly the exact same game exists as free mobile apps, so I was pretty hesitant to pay more than a couple of dollars for this. I picked it up on sale, though, and I definitely got my money's worth. In 4.2 hours I completely cleared the yard (minus the tiny bits along the edges). I found all the secret passages, unlocked every chest, and finally made it all the way to the bottom. I started digging fully convinced there'd be absolutely nothing waiting for me at the end. I'm happy to report I was pleasantly uncovered the truth. I guess you could say the ending ... really dug itself out of a hole. I am about to start over and see how much i can unearth. Def worth the price 100% recommend. Message to the Developer I have included some Ideas that would make the game even better: I give you approval to steal these ideas. 1. More achievements, such as: o First 20m o Hit Rock bottom ( reached bottom of map ) o Maxed Out Gear o Big Spender o Treasure Hunter 2. Add more Tools ( in 4.2 Hours i collected everything, and after i had $98,000.00 and nothing to buy ) o Fully Upgradable Shovel, then pay to unlock the Drill and upgrade like the shovel. …
