About Diminutive

Diminutive is currently being tested in the Multiplayer Edition of the game, allowing players to fight against one another in vs mode battles, customizing their races, ships, guns and special auras to create a play-style that works for them. We are also allowing players to access Invasion Mode, becoming a cooperative combat unit, fighting off the hoards of cursed ships, trying to take over the galaxies.
The Multiplayer Edition of the game will offer modes to play ranging from 1 - 4 Players.
Vs Mode (2-4 Players): In this mode you will go through the regular multiplayer customization screen listed above, followed by selecting between multiple game modes, such as Deathmatch, Stock Mode and more. You will also have various options of maps and rules to choose from, such as time limits, score points, team battling, etc.
Invasion Mode (1-4 Players): For the "invasion" you will once again be able to customize your load-out how you desire and will then have to fight alongside your companions in various locations to find success through defeating waves of enemy/taken over ships. Collect points, upgrade your stats and DON'T DIE!

Diminutive is a 2D retro top down/arcade SpaceWar! ripoff (from 1962), slapped together with GameMaker Studio. The game features a hybrid of the SpaceWar! gameplay and twin stick shooting, and there's a multiplayer game mode, so a lot of lipstick has been applied to the GameMaker Studio pig here. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and results in terrible games like this one. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, using a game construction kit requires no game development talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. While a lot of time seems to have been spent filling out templates for GameMaker Studio, it's still just a construction kit game and the quality here is very poor, to be expected when a very poor quality construction kit is used instead of professional game development.3 found this helpful
Single player was fine, but I feele like it'd benifit from being played by multiple people. Either that or they need to work a lot on the single player making some sort of compaign. One of the other reviews said the story nice but I dodn't see any story mode whahtsoever. Single Player : Wouldnt' recommend, there's better games out there Multiplayer: Maybe worth a go Overall: Probably not unfortunately.2 found this helpful
