I hoped for some "third time the charm", optimistic that the narrower scope of the premise (compared to the whole of creation in [b]Doodle God[/b]) could make things more logical. An appreciable innovation is that several elements do not require a single combination to be created; on the other hand, you'll likely find yourself waddling through several redundant solutions while looking for the next one. The rest is always the same, for good and especially bad. After a while, I was once again just trying any element with the others, waiting for hints to recharge. Not my idea of fun. Adding to that are the confusing interface, which once again doesn't even give names to categories of elements when you already have 18 of them unlocked before you reach 50 elements, and random crashes (fortunately progression is saved constantly).

Doodle Mafia - 100% A solid addon to the Doodle Universe. The puzzles are the same, but now towards crime and policing. I liked that with some unlocks, the world changes to add those new unlocks into the world. The campaign was also pretty fun. Achievements are pretty simple, just need to unlock almost everything, and then do some specific stuff in the campaign that isn't that hard.

eh not very good take on the genre

Compared to other Doodle God entries, this one has an overbearing amount of categories. Which usually don't make any sense. Trying to find "Person"? Cool, look through the 5 different categories with people on them to finally find person again. And yeah, there's different categories for people. And none of them are intuitive. The previous games already had this issue of being a bit lost when you progress too far, good luck with this one. (Except Doodle Kingdom, but that game crashes every 5 minutes).
