Doom Party is a pretty simple game, but I think it has a decent idea behind it. The main focus is on parkour, climbing and small mini games, with the levels built around getting through different obstacles and vertical sections. I like that it gets me moving around quickly instead of spending ages explaining things. The whole game has a casual feeling to it, and I think that works well when I just want something I can jump into without having to learn a huge amount first. The parkour is probably the strongest part for me. Getting around the different obstacles and climbing through the levels can be quite satisfying when I get into a good rhythm. There is something nice about looking at a section and working out the quickest or easiest way through it. The vertical design also gives the levels a bit more variety than a completely flat obstacle course would have. I would have liked the movement to have a little more depth, but the basic idea works well enough.
