About DOOMER'S ADVENTURE
An platformer game about collecting stuff to bear with reality. Just like life, this game is short and meaningless, filled with existential questions of being.

There used to be a structure to this game, a routine, even. Doomer's Adventure once had the kind of funny, paste-worthy moments you'd share in game lobbies or send to your friends. There were relevant plot points and challenges that might be fun to dive into, or to use as ammo when someone brought up a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game you didn't like. Now, this game isn’t even coherent anymore. Every other quest feels like "look at this dumb fetch quest I found," or "a completely outlandish and out-of-place story arc," or "let me describe in detail how frustrating this random NPC interaction was (OC btw yeah I'm so fed up)." What even the hell is this anymore? Do people even care about maintaining the spirit of the original adventure? Is everyone on this development team completely clueless? I miss the old thrill. 4/10.3 found this helpful

Pixelated depression simulator. I walked and gathered all the drugs and alcohol. Now i'm questioning everything. 11/10 as an emotional gut punch. (Warning: Rage simulator) https://youtu.be/rjb6MpVoxLM?si=107insXUnkIrCaje
i really wanted to like it. the game is simple but has a charm to it. the first thing i notice is the controls: sometimes the jump wont register, so you fall to your death halfway through a difficult map. sometimes the character slides, sometimes he sticks to the platform. and what even are hit boxes? i got it on sale for .99 cents, but $5 as the original price is ridiculous given the content of the game. there's not even progression on the level menu so you can see how many levels you've beaten.
