About Dreamed Away

Dreamed Away is a story-driven action-adventure RPG with dark elements set in France in the 90s. Play as Théo, a boy lost in a mysterious world. Explore a unique reality, duel against darkness and mind your choices.
Unique combat

Instead of the traditional menu-based combat commonly found in RPGs, Dreamed Away features a unique, fast-paced combat system made of mini-games.
- Challenge awaits you as every encountered enemy has different variations of dodging and time-based mini-games of increasing complexity.
- With unique abilities and equipment, use strategy and skill to defeat enemies.
- No random encounters.
Story
On a rainy summer night, Théo wakes up in his bedroom and realizes his parents and his sister Louise have disappeared. The true nature of the world lays itself bare. Ghosts, Phantoms and Revenants haunt Théo inside the catacombs and dark places where he searches for his sister. Always a step behind and never able to catch up.
What happened? What does it mean? Why is this place so familiar?
That's how his journey begins.

Features
- Immersive storytelling that takes you on a journey to solve Théo's dark and unsettling mystery.
- Diverse setting: varied colors and environments that bring you from a vibrant, peaceful atmosphere to those dark and mysterious places.
- Detailed and aesthetic pixel art setting that is worth exploring.
- An original soundtrack by Nicolas Petton.
- Unique skill-based combat system.

I've always wanted to play another game similar to Omori and this didn't disappoint. It's addicting and the rpg is just challenging enough for me as I don't like difficult combat. very cozy and has all the spooky vibes, highly recommend4 found this helpful
This was honestly a great game. I wasn't expecting a lot when starting, but I did enjoy my time with the game! The combat stays interesting throughout the game, the art and music are both great, and I got really invested in the last few hours. Definitely pick it up!1 found this helpful
I was one of the Kickstarter Backers for this game and I had a good time with it! The ending was very intriguing! I enjoyed the vibe/lore of the world, the gameplay, and the horror elements (nothing crazy I would say, mostly just unsettling for those wondering!) The pacing could be a bit slow at times. There are also multiple endings, and I got ending 3 which was cool. The game didn't completely end up being mind-blowing experience for me, but overall I had fun time with it!
A good spooky & mysterious RPGmaker game as any, if a little challenging with the combat.
Important Note: Unless you plan to immediately cook your food, leave the gas knobs on the stove closed and untouched.
Glad I kickstarted it.
