I'd give it a solid 9/10. I've only played for about 10 hours, but if you are looking for a solid MMO that's starting out with not many players yet, this is the one. I could easily see this grow into something bigger. The combat, the progression, the stores and everything else is pretty solid. I can't wait to see where this goes!

Dreams Stories Online is an ambitious indie MMORPG built around exploration, survival, character progression, and the unpredictable encounters that can emerge from sharing a persistent fantasy world with other players. Developed and published by Donovan Sousa, the project is especially notable for being created by a solo developer despite attempting many of the systems normally associated with much larger online RPGs. Its current Alpha state means the experience is still evolving, but even at this stage there is a clear philosophy behind the game: players are expected to discover the world for themselves rather than being constantly guided toward the next objective. The story begins with the player's character returning from death and receiving another opportunity to pursue dreams that were never fulfilled. From there, the adventure unfolds across a damaged fantasy world filled with ancient signs, creatures, hidden locations, resources, and other players. The premise provides enough mystery to make exploration meaningful without immediately revealing everything about the setting.
