About DUAL PROTOCOL: The Case of Eva & Miles

Track clues behind locked doors as Agent Eva, or manage the operation from analog terminals as Analyst Miles. One is in the heart of danger on the field; the other is at the desk, buried in data. You cannot see each other's screens, yet you must become each other's eyes and mind. Dual Protocol is a pure Noir asymmetric detective experience where your voice and the information you relay are your only weapons. In this investigation, the only way forward is to keep talking. You must instantly describe every complex symbol, every mysterious object, and every lock you encounter to your partner. A single miscommunication or a missing detail in the halls of the Castellari Manor could lead to the case being closed forever. The mysterious murder at the city’s most prestigious estate is too deep to be solved from a single perspective. As Eva, touch the physical evidence on the ground; as Miles, dive into the archives to decrypt technical blueprints. Eva finds the clues Miles cannot reach; Miles analyzes the complex data Eva cannot decipher.A bleak universe where the technological texture of the 90s collides with classic noir atmosphere. Search for the truth amidst CRT flickers, heavy shadows, and the tactile clatter of vintage computers. Manually enter terminal commands, scan documents, and piece together the Castellari murder bit by bit.Cross-Data VerificationConnect the dots by matching real-time field info with hidden central records.Asymmetric OperationOne player physically triggers mechanisms in the manor while the other reads complex system manuals to guide the way.Critical DeductionWhen Miles's data and Eva's observations unite, the veil of mystery over the Castellari murder will finally lift.

Pretty bad, story doesn't make sense, too short, ending sucks. In the garbage bin

I like the idea of a multi-player game that requires communication, but this one isn't it. The second instance of driving finally made my co-op partner and I quit.

A really fun little game with good puzzles that are honestly easy if you're paying attention, even more so if your partner is also a good puzzler. You are given everything you need at each stage to solve them, the rest is up to you. Looking forward to more games this of this nature!

I received this game for free through Keymailer, and played with one of my friends. This is a game that I had wishlisted a while ago, so even if I had not received for free, I would have paid my own money to play this. My friend and I both LOVE co-op puzzle games, and a little murder mystery, so this was right up our alley! Overall we both really enjoyed this. The puzzles weren't too easy, but weren't too difficult to figure out either. We did not experience any game performance issues and both streamed our playthrough live, so I would say as long as you have the specified specs or higher, you shouldn't have any issues. I did find the co-op layout of this to be unique! This is not a local OR online co-op game, you actually don't need to be connected to internet to play this - you just need a way to chat with your partner and see your separate screens. I will say that as the person who didn't "solve" the case, I did not get to see the ending because of this unique connection, which is a bit of a bummer, but my partner did read the ending we received. The only other note we had was in the consistency of dates, as one of the early puzzles uses the D/M/Y format where the rest of the…

♥♥♥ guzel! Fun game.

I love the premise of this game and appreciate that the puzzles are cooperative, but the actual gameplay consists of a boring story, frustrating controls, and some puzzles that don't seem to have much rhyme or reason. There's very little room for exploration in the environments other than just randomly clicking until something responds. There are key story elements that go nowhere and can't be explored further. Probably my biggest frustration is a puzzle that requires turning on old record players, which is supposed to be so loud it makes everything in the house shake. In reality, the entire screen shakes non stop, resulting in a visual nightmare until it's over. I wish I had stopped earlier so I could request a refund.
