About Palallel

Discover a brand-new cooperative experience with Palallel, a 2D puzzle platformer for two players !

Trapped in themed boards, find your way through the puzzles and get to the exit. But don’t forget your partner !

Each player has his own level that only he can see. Players must find a way to unlock and get to their exit door.

To achieve this, you must cooperate by exchanging objects and trigger mechanisms that can affect both your side and your partner’s.

You'll need to communicate efficiently with your friend to beat all levels...

Palallel has one specificity: You won’t be able to see or interact with your friend

Communication is key to progress in parallel with your partner… Will you be able to solve puzzles while cooperating effectively ?

To exchange an object, it’s simple: get it out of your board...

… and it will pop on the other, on the opposite side !

Interact with buttons, switches, pressure plates and more to open the path to your friend.

You like physic-based games ? So do we !

Throw balls & keys, use crates as a platform, play with gravity, …

Even in these boards, laws of physics still exist !.. Most of the time... Approximately…

When you reach the limit of a world, you'll encounter an "END" level, aka trial levels.

These levels are a bit different in the layout (not a single screen) and will be quite challenging.

Customize your character as you want with multiple character parts to switch from.

Try out the randomize button to get impressive results real fast.

You can't see your partner but who said you couldn't be pretty to solve puzzle ?
 • 144 Individual levels (among these : 8 trials levels, 8 logic rooms and 32 bonus challenges)
 • 36 Achievements to unlock !
 • 10 Themed environments
 • Several mechanics and interactive objects to challenge your brain and dexterity
 • Some easter eggs…
 • Character customization pushed to the limit

This game makes me want to scoop my eyeballs out with a spoon that was left on a stove for 10 minutes, while I have a 10 inch knife up my butthole. But is it a good game? Yes. (World 7 even after reduced difficulty is still a nightmare)

Wow. we thought this was a small puzzly game, but something simple, not too involved that we crush through in a few hours. But it turned out to be a very special and very cool coop game that employs tons of different mechanics and really has us engaged with the puzzles. It has a great variety and challenges and a brilliant mix of puzzle solving and execution challenges. There is some escape room and some platformer gameplay. This really is a hidden gem of real coop games that take the coop aspect seriously and asks players to bring their best collaboration forward. Super surprising and an absolute steal (seriously the price is too low, because the game has a lot of content) PC is great because you can find adventurous and creative approaches to coop that are not mainstream and this is exactly that. We can highly recommend it and it really shines as an extraordinary coop game with innovative ideas and mechanics. Do not be fooled by the simple but effective graphics.

My Experience Although my co-op partner and I don't have the most patience when it comes to puzzle-platformers and they are generally never among our favorite games, it's nice to put a little work into one that is well-constructed from time to time between other games/campaigns. For the last few weeks, Palallel has been our puzzle-platformer of choice. Each time we'd get online to play games, we'd complete one of its eight worlds. We found the "chalkboard" aesthetic to be fun, and were surprised to find that we could see nothing of the other player's screen. Players can move objects between their screens, but their two blocky characters will never meet. This means that there's quite a bit of, "Hey, if I do this, does that do anything on your end?" - don't get me wrong though, it's a good time. We found the concepts presented by the game to be clever, and the chaotic physics levels (can be seen at :31 into the first game trailer) to be hilarious. Our main issue with the game came with the levels that were more about platforming than puzzling. With these, the issue was more in the execution than in figuring out what to do. We stopped playing on the 11th level of th…

Absolutely loved and enjoyed this game. Though sometimes levels require some logical thinking instead of mechanical skills (which I would not have been able to do on my own lol) it was really fun nevertheless. Levels were all created with great charme and each world has its own twist to it. My favorite thing about this game gotta be the design of the characters: they are simply adorable and make the game just that much more fun. To mention some criticism as well, we did have some softlocks throughout the game, in two or three levels if I remember correctly. Especially in the very last level it was a little annoying as we had to restart the entire level
that requires a few 'rooms' to be completed
. However, I would 10/10 recommend this game to anyone that looks for a fun game to play with a friend or partner. Developers should way charge more in my opinion as you do get quite some play time and find yourself in a unique setting and design.

Awesome coop puzzle platformer game. Key concept is communication between the two players who play in asymmetrical rooms and can interact without seeing the other's screen. Had a real good time playing with my friend. Would 100% recommend!

A fun puzzle game for the price to play with a friend in comms. A few levels were confusing to my friend and I, a bunch from world 7 like 7-12, 7-end, and 7-B4, but we got through them all and had a good time. For some of the levels with the die like mid and bonus levels, there's some sort of correlation to go off of, you just have to communicate well what you both see and figure out what it is. My friend and I did trial and error on a few of them, especially when we were both tired, took screenshots, and then he figured out what connected them later. Communication is key, communicating what you see and do, timing, etc. Again, it's a fun game and I would recommend for people with friends that like puzzle games. Good luck, happy palling around.
