Eira: Echoes of Adventure

This is yet another student project, one of literally thousands self-published on Steam Direct. It's from Champlain College in the USA. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" games, we must still question what value they have for gamers. This isn't a fully fleshed out game. It's the result of an academic exercise and has much more limited value than a professionally developed game. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments. It helps their marketing and makes students feel good, but it puts the business before the needs of gamers. The students made a mild Portal ripoff without the portals... you just get a little gravity gun that you use to manipulate various objects in this first person puzzle adventure game. There's some plot about a woman searching for her missing grandparent, and a mild progression system as you upgrade your gravity gun. The problem is, while the concept seems fine, as a student project, every corner you could cut has been cut... there's no polish or optimization, ground breaking bugs... and of course, because the students got their grades and moved on, these problems will ne…

All you do is sucking stuffs off, don't know what I expected. 60 Rubies out of this is the damn 15th time I sucked this cluster off. Click clack
