About Enclosure 3-D
Story
You play as Mike Goodman, a small-time con man who, after yet another night of bad business, gets an offer he just can't refuse. The next day you find yourself joining a party of 10 professionals embarking on a mission to uncover the secrets of an abandoned arctic base.
Gameplay
Enclosure is a text-parser graphic adventure game inspired by classics of the genre and horror movies of the 80s. You control Mike by moving him around and issuing commands via keyboard. You explore and interact with the environment, talk to your fellow party members and solve adventure game-style puzzles on the way.
Enclosure 3-D is a modern remaster of the game Enclosure originally released in 2004. The graphics have been remodeled in 3D while preserving the pixel art look of the game, and a completely new soundtrack has been composed. You can switch between original and remastered graphics by using F2 in the game.
Controls
- move Mike using arrow keys or the numpad (tap to move/stop)
- type in text commands ("look", "open door" etc.)
- Enter to progress dialog
- Escape to open menu
Tips
- Talk - talk to all characters until you've exhausted their conversations (F3)
- Observe - ask Mike to look at anything that stands out
- Explore - walk inside and outside the station to discover all the locations

First time playing a game that take actions by inputting words, it was pretty fun. Fun characters, nice story with twists and turns, interesting puzzle/mystery to solve. Figuring out the correct command words can get frustrating sometime, but that's part of the fun lol. Btw rather than horror, I think this game overall feels more of a comedy with spooky vibe? Like, it's really not that scary, most of the part it's funny even.
Short, tense and very effective. It makes cold air and silence feel threatening, and it builds fear slowly instead of relying on cheap jump scares. It sticks in your mind longer than you expect for something this compact.
I didn't play for long but this is a worthy successor to Sierra's games we played as kids. Thanks

Very interesting premise, and I love the old-fashioned gameplay and graphics. I did get stuck, however, and this game is so niche that I couldn't find a guide. EVERYONE GO PLAY IT NOW. AND POST A GUIDE! So stupid people like me can enjoy the story.
"Enclosure 3-D" is certainly a clever idea, nobody could deny that, but nobody stopped to ask if it's a "good" idea. This is basically a ripoff of Sierra adventure games from the mid 1980s, only slathered onto some low poly environments. Gameplay is the same, however, you just go on a bit of a retro adventure, and removing the quirky 3D look, this isn't really as good as spinning up some of those ancient abandonware games instead, if you're looking for a retro experience. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. Yes, they do authentically reproduce the look and feel of those 1980's sensations, but it's 2025 now. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this cas…
