What Steam players say

Writing a review for this game has been difficult for me. It is at times like these I desperately wish that Steam had a neutral review. There are things I find great about Esau's World. The puzzles and mechanics introduced throughout the game are very well explored. The game even has some optional challenge-puzzles or novel solutions for players who want to think outside the box! There are plenty of head-scratchers in here and anyone who enjoys a solid puzzle platformer would definitely enjoy these. However — the game does end a bit suddenly and it lacks a truly satisfying conclusion or capstone to its plotline. Esau's World does have some fun characters, dialogue, and memorable moments; but if you don't love the puzzle platformer genre, you could be left wanting by the end of it. I definitely would recommend Esau's World to anyone who is a fan of the puzzle platformer genre (and especially if they love to support indie games) — but for players who enjoy other genres, they may not be able to find home here.5 found this helpful
Fun platformer with a wide variety of puzzles. I've hit a lot of blocks where I had to walk away and think about the problem before coming back to tackle it again, but none that are impossible to solve, so far anyway. I've put a lot of hours in trying to find every secret area and puzzle and I still have a couple to go, so it's a good buy in terms of sheer amount of puzzle content.
