7/10 Extended Advanced Wars TLDR: A TBS with dozens of unit types, buildings, special effects etc. The main issues are the blocky graphics and the unnecessarily cramped UI. The game ends up intriguing but uncomfortable to play. I'd say it needs a re-design of the graphics and the UI for a much higher resolution Good: + free + an improvement over Advanced Wars, with more units, building construction, and special powers + can play on randomly generated maps + multiplayer So-so: +/- the tutorial is there but often what's explained is covered by the huge instructions panel. Also, often the tutorial advances or ends abruptly at click. It advances to the next paragraph when you click, even if the text of the previous paragraph hasn't finished appearing. And you can't go back to the previous paragraph +/- graphics generally try to mimic the GameBoy era of the 90s but it all just looks bad on today's monitors. I have a 4x monitor, and it's funny that I have to look at huge pixels, barely discernible units and fonts so huge and pixelated that they are hard to read. Why struggle with all this if the vast majority of players nowadays have 1920x1080 monitors. Okay, maybe some have a laptop …

Huge recommend. Very fun campaign. I enjoyed fighting against the midnight coalition (the blue campaign) the most. The level of strategy is great and there are some very memorable levels in the campaign; my personal favorite being "Storm the Beach." There is some real potential here for players to make some great competitive maps for multiplayer and I would love to see advanced wars veterans play this and give their thoughts!

Fun turn-based strategy game with lots of customization.

Fun little advance wars type game. Action is quick and easy to get into. The units all feel like they have a pretty solid role that they are meant to fit into with some units like the Devastator (A mech that can destroy any buildings it goes to) have some fun strategic applications if you can manage them right. What is there is really good. EDIT: My main concerns below have been fixed in later patches. Really great turnaround and always fixing issues in the game. However the controls are frankly infuriating, its easy to misclick with no way to roll back the move you just made (even if it wasn't an attack). Also for the life of me I can't figure out what the proper end turn button is, so I ended up soft locked when I didn't have enough money to buy something from a factory to clear up the "Stuff you can do before you can hit the green end turn button" so I was stuck with no known way to end my turn.

Everyone Fights is a fun game with very little system requirements that will give you hours of entertainment. With a random map generator and the ability to customise your own commanders you can ensure every game you play will be different from the last with plenty of challenges. The Dev's also very active with fixing any bugs that may arise while you play. Definitely worth the time, especially for a free game.
