About Eternal Warfare

Eternal Warfare is a turn-based strategy and war game where you harvest resources, build an army, and then destroy your opponents! Starting with a single building, construct production facilities, advance your tech level, and then fight through land, sea and air, until you emerge victorious!
Besides being turn based, playing online allows everyone to move at the same time creating a more dynamic experience where not just strategy matters but also your speed and initiative.

Features:
  • Immerse into a warfare world where outsmarting your opponent is the key to the victory.
  • Harvest resources and expand your base.
  • Unlock new weapons as you advance in the tech tree.
  • Conquer land, sea and air.
  • Single player campaigns, with special challenge and secret missions.
  • Invasion game mode, where you have to protect your base from enemy attack waves.
  • Custom skirmish battles.
  • Multiple playable generals, each with different strengths and weaknesses.
  • Up to 8 players per battle, local or online.
  • Online play supports simultaneous turns and asynchronous multiplayer.

This game is a hidden gem. A true strategy. I was tired from RTS, because of the constant hurry. Now I have everything I need. It deserves more attention. Devs did a really great job. - PVP feels dynamic and intense. - There are several Campaigns with a variety of tactical situations. - The combat feels polished and balanced. Every aspect of it. Strong oldschool feeling. If you spent childhood with Red Alert 2 you'll love this game. Pure joy. I truly recommend it.

One of those games you find that's an absolute gem and wish you had found it sooner. Calling it an Advanced Wars clone is a disservice. This manages to be its own thing with a surprising amount of depth to it.

If you've played advance wars Days of ruin on Nintendo DS, this game has the same fog of war mechanics as it. And to me that reason alone is enough to recommend it over other games of this style that don't copy this mechanic. (if you don't know, it's the ability to retain knowledge in fog of war on a turn by turn basis. Each time you reveal a tile it's revealed for that whole turn. Other games don't have this and sometimes moving a unit away will re-hide units that you could see previously on your turn making fog of war a more frustrating experience.) The game itself is pretty good. A mix of advance wars and Command and Conquer. It's hard to find people to play with and I've not finished the campaign. However I enjoy skirmishes with a bunch of computer players that can be tweaked in difficulty to your liking (ranging from easy, medium, hard and even Cheaters). The graphics are a little weird in terms of colour choice but for the most part I'm indifferent. I like most of the unit colours but the tanks and especially the stronger tanks are kind of near impossible to tell what colour they belong to. but otherwise the graphics are functional.

A cool little Advance Wars clone stylized in a Red Alert-like aesthetic. Easy to learn, difficult to master. It's got tutorial, campaign, skirmish, multiplayer... All the good stuff you'd expect from a strategy game. It's also moddable, but I haven't tried any of the mods yet. The text portion of the game, namely mission briefings have some bad grammar and spelling. English clearly isn't the first language of the developers, or perhaps they didn't hire a proofreader in the beta stage. Other than that, it's a fun, addicting TBS game that won't cost you more than your lunch.

Advanced wars and C&C combined. Double the fun, excellent game.
