Excursion

[h1]Before I played Excursion, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]

While still early in being built it's a very simple to use dungeon builder that let's you really focus on working room to room, though i will say it's less of a game and more a tool to help people looking to try out and build quick and easy dungeons with minimal hassle and worry and unlike something like say table top simulator where you have to first load the game then open and dungeon building addons you have this is everything you need right out of the gate and at a good price too

"Excursion" is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, "Excursion" is a software application that basically works like an incomplete and abandoned ripoff of Roll20 only worse in every respect. Not an RPG in itself, but a very poorly made tabletop gaming tool with laughably bad quality assets and UI. What's even more laughable is the developer thought people would pay him money for this. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill against that player by shooting them or being shot, the computer rewards the player if they win, and then if the player survives, they repeat that loop.
