The idea of this being an RPG is really loose, because there is not much of a story. It is really just one treasure quest after another. Perhaps this will change with further developement. You play as a young treasure hunter and your goal is to find treasure on the map and bring them to the people who asked for them. You are not the only one who got the job, so expect many competitors. In addition, every other living creature on the map are also automatically drawn to the treasure, so you have to be careful. There is a lot of variety in this game in terms of overall goals and outcomes. You can decide to keep the treasure for yourself, you can talk to your competitors or attack them. You can defeat enemies and loot them, or you can befriend different monster factions, etc. Your actions further determine the attitudes and the actions of other creatures. The game is very cute, and can be fun, but I do have a couple of things I wish they can address. 1) The game is pretty easy to pick up, and simple enough to play, however, some quality of life improvements / adjustments can be made as well, like a shotcut button to allow quick access to the map. 2) While the game is cute, and be pretty fun as well, it just feels like the lack of music waters down the game signifficantly as well. 3) The factions are great and all, however, it would also be nice if there's a guage or indicator to show your current relationship with the races. 4) Data on the monsters, or even a lifebar will be great too. Often times you just wander around and you come across races and monsters but youre not even sure if you can even kill a certain monster, or can you even hurt it, as there really is nothing that visibly shows that. 5) A focus, an objective, somehting to show for your accumulation of plays. What I mean is it can feel like the game can just be a mindless dungeon crawler, after you finish a quest, you accept another and that is it, back to crawling. 6) Randomness can be an excellent way to break the monotony. That twist is that you don’t have to fight the enemies you come across. As the name implies, you’re a raider who just wants the treasure. You can sneak, trap, stun, and steal your way to the treasure in various locations. Combat is optional. So you can cooperate or fight against various factions which all seek treasure. It’s up to you how you play. One of the more unique things about this game is that you don’t have to fight. You can learn and understand a race’s preferences and characteristics to take advantage of the situation in order to get the treasure. So you have to think about how you approach each faction. Be careful, they’ll remember what you did to them and either help you later or kill you for your betrayal. No surprise, but being nice will help you get treasures easier. Another neat thing is …
