So far it has been a fun game. Have issues here and there with hit registry when attacking, but other than that I don't see an issue with the game.. so far. So an issue with lagging and so on... Not being able to see attack indicators of monsters, dying and losing precious gear, pretty fkn annoying. That ♥♥♥♥ will need fixing (Almost want to give a negative review based on how many times this has happened, but that would be unfair until we see some fixes later on) *Fix plus and minus keys in store so it can be held and not have to be individually clicked to make a change in pricing
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This is an unusual one because it seems like a genuinely made game (well, as much as live service stuff can be considered genuine). It's not really an MMO although some have tagged it as such, it's just a PvP arena but with a pirate/supernatural theme. Unfortunately that doesn't cross over to the gameplay which was dry-as-a-bone arena brawling. Obviously with nothing of interest to draw in gamers, this flopped right out of the gate and the developers walked away. Here's the thing... launching a PvP game in Early Access kills the game. PvP games need critical mass of players to "go viral". However, gamers usually only try out a game once... so what happened here is players jumped on, saw a buggy disaster (as most Early Access games are) and walked away, never to return. The developers killed their own game through hamfisted abuse of Early Access. Part of the blame goes to Valve... Early Access might have been well intentioned, but it just rewards developers for [i]not finish…

A solid beginning framework exists. The execution, at this stage, is still unpolished. The speed of the combat is loathfully slow, compared to similar titles; the incredibly slow targeting, with magic, for instance, all needs a good bit of tuning. The character animations are stiff. The imagination in design of the containers for the levels is completely unimaginative - every single lootable container is one of a few styles of chest. There are some lovely coffins lying around in some places, that would make for very good lootable containers, if they weren't simply a part of the map, at this point. Also, more types of containers - always more than one or two (regardless of varying types) - and preferably not all that obvious, so that we actually have to explore a bit to become familiar with the environment, instead of it simply being a platform to hold all the "things" as we scurry about looking for the next obvious container to loot. The valuables are all contained in chests at this point, nothing is ever found lying upon the environment in a fashion apropos to its environment. We cannot use the "Esc" button to close open windows when doing our managerial tasks in the settlement. T…

Still pretty early in early access. Movement is super slow, weapons don't hit very hard, NPCs are EVERYWHERE, still tons of bugs. Avoid.
