In this day and age, no one expects a fully-realised and bug-free game on release day anymore, so neither did I. The translation into English is patchy, but understandable and the game looks really charming and like it may have a lot of potential. But. This is far from the first farming sim I've played, but it's the first where I gave up after half an hour because I found it too frustrating. Much of the fun in a lot of these games is figuring stuff out, but I ran out of energy on day one, utterly failed to eat one of the supposedly energy-restoring mushrooms in my inventory, couldn't water my seedlings and apparently lost them overnight because I certainly wasn't able to water the little brown lumps I found on day two. Instead of over-explaining how loans work, please add a few hints on the very, very, VERY basic stuff. I wanted to like this game, but alas.33 found this helpful
I wish I could give this one a positive review. It's got an interesting premise: wash up on a cat island after a storm and repay your debt to a local deity. But as the playtime may show you: it's an unplayable mess abandoned by the devs. I've played plenty of games that were more indie, more janky, etc., But Farm Debt Repay Life has serious issues in the basis of gameplay: it's controls are irresponsive, randomly flipping and worse. Hence a refund request has been issued. A pity.4 found this helpful
