i like it better than stardew

Words can't describe how much I absolutely adore this game, you can tell how much heart and soul was put into it. The aesthetic, character designs, dialogues, gameplay and story makes you really feel like you are a part of Mistria. The price for the game is so low compared to how much it gives you, it really deserves more recognition. My favorite thing in the game is how much effort was put into the characters and their dialogues and connection with eachother. You always find them going places and talking to eachother, even doing activities like playing cards or DND on fridays in the Inn. The have so much dialogue they talk about other characters, their backstory, their favorite item etc Don't get me started on how absolutely adorable all of the dating options are, it's so hard to choose because they are all attractive in their own way (Love love tsundere March <3) and the story you get with them makes you want to date them all (which you CAN omg). The festivals are really adorable and gives you really sweet scenes and dialogues with other dateables. They've really focused on making this game slow and enjoyable for everyone, focusing a LOT on quality of life aspects, like not …

It's such a well thought out game... Every part of it feels good. The NPCs feel more lively, the game doesn't punish you at all, and it feels like every effort you put in not only have in-game rewards but tangible effects on the world. Every part I found lackluster and annoying in Stardew Valley is fixed and improved upon here. It's a lot of fun, and if Stardew felt too stressful, I highly recommend you give this one a shot!! :D

[h1] The Brief Breakdown: 95% [/h1] Fields of Mistria has quickly become one of my favorite games of all time, and may even be my favorite farm-sim to date. It has an adorable and pleasing art style with many really interesting characters that I absolutely love to interact with. Additionally, and I can’t appreciate this enough, the developers have allowed you full customization with your character which includes the avatar, pronouns, and even allows you to select whether your character is fully polyamorous or monogamous* which, in my experience, has been a very rare amount of [i] designed [/i] inclusivity in many farm-sim games (there are many, very talented, modders working on adding poly inclusivity to other farm sims, but FoM includes it without those mods). 38/40~ *[i] at this moment you can only marry one eligible person, but you can choose to continue dating them after marriage or have the game disable polyamorist relationships which will make you break up with the people you were dating before your marriage.
