Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/s7boOae9dZs I do want to commend the developer for making an ambitious VR game. This is certainly a game to keep your eye on in case it ever gets some serious updates. It has some potential and It could be a very fun & enjoyable game in the future. However, I have to rate the game as it stands now. Unfortunately, the game just currently has too many issues for me to recommend. This is an open-world RPG with a beautiful low polygon art style. At the start, it definitely looks very impressive and you get a true sense of adventure as you commence your journey. However, as soon as you spend some time with this game, you'll start seeing all the problems, and they are numerous. First thing is just how the world is pretty lifeless behind the shiny veneer. The NPC AI is bad and most won't respond to any of your actions. Buildings are usually not open to exploration and most objects are not interactable. There isn't much to actually explore. I talked with Morgan Freeman's ghost, fought a knight, he put himself into missionary position and he died. And then i have lost my sword two times. Great gameplay
Doesn't work with hp reverb g2 controllers
The game was fun in the beginning, but after the last update they broke Oculus controllers (completely unregistered now). The dev had been silent for 5 months without a progress update or patch.
Wrestled with the controls on my index for about 10 minutes. "Put the potion in your bag" How?!?! It is stuck to my hand! "pick up the bow" How?!? I have a sword stuck to one hand and a tablet stuck to the other, neither of which I can get rid of.
