All right so! Positives! -Price: I got this on sale at what would equal $4.66 -Story: The story was pretty good with unexpected twists. -Art: Absolutely gorgeous artwork. -Length: I much prefer short games. Although I don't mind a long game, I find it difficult to get back into if I break the immersion by taking a break. -Mechanics: Easy to understand mechanics -Models: The bosses' models looked amazing! Even the weapons, butterflies, watch, everything was simply gorgeous! Now, the negatives... -Models: Although the bosses' models looked amazing, the characters you actually interact with seem a lot more...polygonal (?). I get that this is a one man show, but I gotta review it how it is. -Pacing: The game is short, which I like! However, the pacing was just way too fast for the story. I wouldn't have minded one or two more scenes of interacting with the Chosen Hero before my character was all like "I will die for her!!!". It just seemed a bit rushed. -Error: Although the developer, Mr. Jiang, had posted a solution on the updates, I shouldn't have to go through that just to start the game. Just update it with the folders already edited. -Gameplay: Although I praised the mechanics a…

Experienced on a Meta Quest 2 with airlink. Timeless Paradox VR is an action adventure anime VR game, that has an amazing story full of action and heart tugging moments. Its a RPG / JRPG style game with a great physical VR gameplay. You will be doing all the combat physically and will work up a sweat. You will also get interactive moments of doing things like making soup. The characters are beautiful looking and you will fall in love with them. The bosses are very unique and each have their own combat style. The world looks and feels amazing in VR, and will immerse you in no time. In this story we hold the power to travel through time and rewrite history. Together with the heroine, we stand a chance to make a better future, but at what price? Over all I found the story was great, and kept me gaming for hours. The world and characters are very immersive, and the controls are great. This VR anime has everything I was looking for. If you are an anime fan, or enjoy a good story based game, this is a VR title you don't want to miss. Watch my preview here, https://youtu.be/6joOV36vR4g

was able to finish in 2 hours and get a refund. fairly decent game, combat is okay, though there is no weapon collisions, meaning your swords will just phase through things, even other weapons that enemies use, graphics are absolutely atrocious and everything is super bright, but still can look decent at times. soundtrack is actually pretty good, not sure if its original or not, but it fits the game really well. wielding weapons feels off, doesn't line up with your controllers irl, though i am playing on a index. no voice acting, everything is said through text, which ruins the immersion a bit. story.....is okay, nothing to write home about, but, i can't say it wasn't at least a little intriguing. do i recommend this game? if you can beat it under the two hour refund limit, yea, otherwise there is no replayability, no difficulty settings, and no collectibles or achievements to unlock. The game is very promising, and with a little bit of work, could be a fantastic game, but its sadly been abandoned by the developer

It's cool. Played on an Oculus Quest 2. Pros: -A fun casual romp through a pretty, anime-inspired world -Can sometimes make you feel like a total bad*ss -Sword swinging is immersive and mechanically forgiving -Short Cons: -Difficulty spikes. Some bosses were very frustrating to me because some mechanics aren't reliable - aiming the bow is needlessly tricky and there's a charge beam from a double handed sword that doesn't always fire after it charges. -NPC animations are stiff -Too easy to accidentally squeeze the Oculus controller and release your weapon in the middle of battle -Translation is a little rough Other: -Everything looks like the brightness/gamma is too high. Though this could be my Virtual Desktop streaming PCVR via WiFi 6, not playing natively on Oculus - streaming PCVR. Overall, I liked Timeless Paradox and had a fun time. It was a perfect length and an entertaining (albeit sometimes frustrating) entry into VR. It has me excited to try other visual novel-style games with some action sprinkled in. I'd recommend it for under $5 and if you go in understanding it's a game very obviously made by an inexperienced developer with promise, who had a vision they wanted rea…

Love the idea of this game. It's pretty much similar to Sword Art Online. It could be a gem if the battle mechanic become smoother and not too much redundant in fighting. Considering this is a work of only one man, you have my special praise for this hard work. Nice job, please keep going,

7/10 If you forget this game to be an indie and read all the dialogues carefully as a good book, you will be gifted with charming story, which you also have to live and fight for.
Dislike
1. Language support should be much wider. And it's not that hard since only text should be translated whereas language barrier for player is a strong force to fight against. 2. Strange grip/release key bindings. I played with Valve Index, but had to push a button to release item instead of using natural grip. 3. No way to skip dialog. Sometimes it bothers a little, when you came back to the game to continue a fight, but you can't skip all the dialogs before the battle begins, even if you've already read them more than once.
Like
1. Original well-thought story with a real time paradox. Can't tell more 'cause it would be a huge spoiler. 2. Lots of cute girls :) 3. Clever and various fight mechanics. If you can't win, stop blame the game. Find what you are doing wrong and alter your tactics.
