I rarely refund games, but I felt like I should with this one, especially considering the price, that while not expensive, is more than is fair for this in my opinion. I've been having less and less patience for Horror Engine asset flips, or anything that feels like it, and this really does. Every sound, every "puzzle" they're all the same things I've experienced 1000 times. Admittedly, I didn't make it too far into the game, so maybe it has redeeming qualities further into it, but it put me off more than sucked me in enough to want to keep going. And I know some people don't think a game's price should be taken into consideration when reviewing it, but I think it's a critical part of evaluating a game's value. I probably wouldn't have refunded or taken the time to write a negative review if this was half the price, but there are some really really good indie horror games with unique art/assets at this game's current list price. There are some amazing games for a lot less. And while price certainly isn't everything, I don't think this is priced to match it's place in this market.
