About Flawless
Flawless (完美无瑕) is a third-person adventure game that takes place deep within a young boy’s dreams. Explore the surreal landscape and solve puzzles to discover the origins of the boy’s fears in this psychological narrative experience. Can you escape the nightmare?
In addition to controlling the boy's movement through W A S D and using the left mouse button to communicate with the protagonist's parents to advance the plot development, players also need to use W A S D E to decrypt the variant gameplay of Tetris.
This game has one teaching level, three puzzle-solving levels, and one plot level, which correspond to encountering, getting along, resisting, and reconciling between the boy and his parents. I hope that players can learn why a lot of children in the process of growing up want to ask their parents the phrase, "Do I need to be perfect to be worthy of your love" while playing the game.
Flawless was made almost entirely by Thomas Wang, who hopes the narrative can help give players a glimpse into the mind of a child growing up under immense parental pressure. Special thanks go to Thomas’s parents for their support of the development and everyone else who contributed to the game.
Feedback is always appreciated!
Let's see if you could help the boy reach his parents' standards and escape the nightmare...
Caution for photosensitive epilepsy!

Excellent emotion convey through graphics!
typical Asian parents and their consequences (getting nuked, seriously).
Tetris but it's deep
Kitschy ending and the main mechanic is kinda weird, but it worked, was short and got its' point across. Nothing new or groundbreaking, but the style is accomplished quite nicely and stands out from the crowd. Sequences like the final one, with objects or blocks of terrain slamming down on the ground in front of the player, are often-seen by now but never fail to impress nonetheless. (6/10)
6/10 An artistic walking sim with a few Tetris-inspired puzzles. Good: - the gfx style of the game is really unusual and imaginative, as you see in the screenshots and the trailer - the game brings up the issue of dysfunctional families and bad parenting when children must live up to expectations of parents to be "worthy" of love - free So-so: - no music or sfx - the story, while interesting, it presented in a messy way. You might have to read its description or watch the trailer to understand it Bad: - there are just a few puzzle types, all Tetris-based. Some of them I didn't even understand (the one where shapes go up) - should one create a row there? Overall, it's an interesting short "experience"-type of app. Like most modern art, it presents its message in a way that's not easy to comprehend, so some could call it pretentious. I guess the issue of this "demanding parenting" is more prevalent in China (where this game comes from) because China is a booming economy, there is a strong sense of progress there and thus high demand to excel personally. Plus, the 1-child policy that must have made parents anxious about successes of their single child. There is no "backup" in f…
